Yerba Mate Roasted Tea

Single Estate Yerba Mate Tea

Roasted Yerba Mate is a bold, full-bodied herbal infusion made from fire-roasted Ilex paraguariensis leaves. Unlike traditional green yerba mate, the roasting process smooths the flavour while adding deep, toasty, caramel-like notes. Naturally containing caffeine, this tea delivers a steady lift without the sharpness of coffee, making it a satisfying and rich alternative.

Enjoy it hot for a warming brew or iced for a refreshing drink. Its bold, nutty profile also pairs beautifully with milk, honey, or warming spices such as cinnamon and vanilla.

Ingredients

100% Organic Yerba Mate (Roasted).

Flavour Notes:

Aroma: Warm and toasty, with deep roasted nut and caramel notes.
Flavour:
Smooth and bold, with a toasty richness, subtle nuttiness, and mild natural sweetness.
Finish:
Full-bodied and lingering, with a gentle roasted warmth.
Pairing:
Enjoy on its own or with honey, milk, or spices like cinnamon. Pairs well with dark chocolate, nuts, and baked goods.

Origin Story:

Yerba Maté has been a staple in South American cultures for centuries, traditionally enjoyed in a gourd with a bombilla (metal straw). The roasted variety offers a smoother, deeper flavour, making it a popular alternative to coffee and a distinctive choice for a rich, full-bodied herbal tea.
