Orders & Delivery

Where is my order? / How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link via email or SMS. You can use this link to follow your delivery in real time.
If you created an account at checkout, you can also log in anytime to view your order history and tracking updates.
If you can’t find your tracking email, please check your junk or spam folder — or contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Where do you ship from?

All orders are prepared and dispatched from our workshop centre on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Every parcel is packed with care and shipped via Australia Post.

Where do you ship to?

We currently only ship Australia-wide. For international enquiries, please email us and we’ll advise based on your location.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Orders typically dispatch from our workshop within 1–2 business days. Shipping time depends on your location, but tracking is always provided once your order leaves us. Typically, once your parcel is with Australia Post, it will take 2-4 business days to arrive. This means from your order date to your order being delivered, it will take 3-6 business days. This is not guaranteed and your order may arrive later for reasons that are outside of our control.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is free for all orders over $75. For all order orders, shipping is $9.95 flat-rate.

Can I edit or cancel an order once placed?

If your order hasn’t been packed, we’ll do our best to make changes. Email us as soon as possible at support@goodnesstea.com.au. If your order has been dispatched, then unfortunately you'll need pay for a new replacement order. We are not responsible if you have made a shipping address mistake.

Can I send tea as a gift?

Yes! Around half of our orders are for gifts. You can add a personalised message at checkout. Pricing is never included in the box, so it arrives ready to open by the recipient.

Do you offer gift cards?

We do. Our digital gift cards are delivered instantly by email and can be used at any time. They can be purchased here.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Not at this stage. However, our packaging is designed to arrive beautifully as is — elegant, minimal, and ready to gift.

Subscriptions & Restocks

Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes. You can subscribe to any blend and receive 10% off ongoing. Subscriptions ensure you always have your favourite tea on hand.

How often will I receive my subscription order?

You can choose your frequency — every 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 months. You’ll receive an email before each shipment that confirms all the details with a chance to cancel or skip.

Can I pause, change, or cancel my subscription?

Yes, at any time. Just log into your account to manage your preferences.

Will I be notified before a subscription ships?

Yes. We’ll send a reminder before each shipment with the full details of what’s coming. There will also be an opportunity to skip or cancel before you are charged.

What if a tea I want is sold out?

You can sign up for back-in-stock alerts on each product page. Some blends return regularly; others may not. If you've subscribed to a tea that becomes discontinued or out of stock, your subscription will be paused.

Will you restock discontinued blends?

Sometimes. If there’s something you miss, let us know — it helps us decide what to bring back.

Brewing & Enjoyment

How do I brew your tea properly?

Each blend includes instructions on temperature, quantity, and steep time. You’ll also find brewing guidance in the Journal section of our website.

Can I cold brew your teas?

Yes. Generally, you should use 1 tsp of tea per 250ml of cold water and refrigerate for 6–8 hours. Strain before serving.

Can I reuse the leaves for a second steep?

Many of our teas can be re-steeped. Use slightly hotter water and a longer steep time the second time around.

Can I add milk, lemon, or honey?

Yes. While we recommend tasting each blend with just hot water, you’re welcome to enjoy it however you prefer.

Can I mix teas together?

You can. We suggest starting with blends that share similar bases or aromatics for the best result.

What temperature water should I use?

We recommend 100°C for black teas, 85°C for green or oolong, and 90°C for herbal blends. Full instructions are provided with each tea.

Do your teas contain caffeine?

Some do. Caffeine levels are listed on each product page so you can choose accordingly.

When’s the best time to drink each tea?

Some blends are best suited to mornings, others to evenings. Each product includes suggestions to help guide your routine.

Are your teas suitable for iced tea?

Yes, most are. You can cold brew or brew hot and pour over ice for a quicker result.

Product Information

Are your teas certified organic?

Yes. Every tea we offer is certified organic by our suppliers, without exception.

Are your teas made in Australia?

Our teas are blended and packed in Australia using globally sourced organic ingredients. We source as much as we can from Australia, but sometimes, the ingredients we require simply aren't available here. This allows us to offer exceptional quality across a broad flavour range.

Are your blends made in-house?

Yes. All blending and packing is done in-house and under direction from a master tea blender to maintain our standards of quality and consistency.

Do you use flavourings or sweeteners?

We never use artificial flavourings or sweeteners. Some blends contain natural extracts or oils — always listed in the ingredients.

Do your teas contain sugar?

No sugar is added. Any natural sweetness comes from ingredients like fruit or herbs such as liquorice root

Do your teas contain allergens?

Our teas are free of common allergens such as dairy, gluten and soy). However, our workshop does handle nuts, so traces may be present.

Are your teas gluten-free?

Yes, naturally. Our products are packed in a workshop that does not handle gluten.

What is the shelf life of your tea?

Most teas are best within 12–24 months of blending. For optimal flavour, we recommend consuming within 6 months of opening.

How should I store your tea?

Keep it sealed in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture. Our glass jars are designed for optimal storage.

Do you offer sample sizes or smaller jars?

Not yet — but both will be available soon. Subscribe to our emails to be first to know.

Packaging & Sustainability

What kind of packaging do you use?

Our tea comes in clear cylindrical glass jars with dark wooden lids. They are designed to preserve quality and look beautiful.

Are the jars refillable?

Yes. Refills are available for our teas and blends. It is the most sustainable way to restock.

Are the jars recyclable?

Yes. The glass jars and wooden lids can be separated and recycled where local facilities allow.

Do you use plastic in your packaging?

We avoid plastic wherever possible, using glass, paper, and compostable materials. There is a minimal amount of food-safe silicone and food-safe plastic which forms the seal of our jar lids, ensuring they are air-tight.

Can I return my jars for reuse?

We don’t currently offer a jar return program, but we encourage you to repurpose or recycle them.

Health & Dietary

Do your teas contain allergens?

Our teas are free of common allergens such as dairy, gluten and soy). However, our workshop does handle nuts, so traces may be present.

Are your teas vegan?

Yes. All our teas are plant-based and suitable for vegan diets.

Are your teas halal or kosher?

While not formally certified, all ingredients are suitable within halal and kosher diets.

Are your teas safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Some herbal ingredients may not be suitable. We recommend checking with your healthcare provider before consumption.

Can children drink your teas?

Caffeine-free blends are generally suitable for children. If unsure, consult your doctor first.

Can I drink your tea while fasting?

Yes. Most blends are suitable during intermittent fasting, though anything with fruit may technically break a strict fast.

Can I drink your tea with medication?

If you take prescribed medication, check with your doctor before consuming herbal teas.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

How do I update my shipping address?

Log into your account to make changes. If your order has already shipped, we may not be able to redirect it.

How can I simply reorder a previous order?

Your account dashboard allows for fast repeat ordering and subscription management.
