St. John's Wort Tea

Single Estate Herbal Tea

Made from the dried flowers and leaves of Hypericum perforatum, a plant celebrated for its bright yellow blossoms and long history in traditional herbal practices. This naturally caffeine-free infusion has a mild, earthy flavour with subtle floral and grassy notes, creating a smooth and grounding cup perfect for quiet moments of reflection.

Revered in folklore for centuries, St. John’s Wort has been gathered during midsummer celebrations and enjoyed as a simple, aromatic brew. Whether savoured warm or chilled, this tea offers a naturally vibrant infusion with a gentle, herbaceous character.

Ingredients

100% Organic St. John's Wort.

Flavour Notes:

  • Aroma: Herbaceous and slightly woody, with subtle floral undertones.
  • Flavour: Mildly bitter with earthy, grassy notes and a delicate floral sweetness.
  • Finish: Smooth and dry, with a lingering herbal complexity.
  • Pairing: Best enjoyed on its own for its natural benefits. Pairs well with honey for added sweetness or blended with chamomile or lemon balm for a relaxing nighttime infusion.

Origin Story:

St. John’s Wort has been used in traditional practices for over 2,000 years, named after St. John the Baptist because it blooms around his feast day in late June. Historically valued by ancient Greeks and Romans and later in European folk traditions, it remains a well-known herb, appreciated today for its distinctive character and rich history.
