Red Rooibos Tea

Single Estate Rooibos Tea

A naturally caffeine-free herbal tea made from the fermented leaves of the Aspalathus linearis plant, native to South Africa. With a deep red hue and naturally sweet, earthy flavour, this tea has been cherished for centuries for its distinctive taste and vibrant colour. Rooibos is naturally low in tannins, giving it a smooth, full-bodied profile without bitterness, making it a popular alternative to traditional black or green teas.

Enjoyed hot for a rich, warming brew or iced for a bright, refreshing drink, Red Rooibos pairs beautifully with milk, honey, or citrus. Its naturally sweet, caramel-like notes make it a versatile tea for any time of day.

Ingredients

100% Organic Rooibos Tea.

Flavour Notes:

  • Aroma: Warm and earthy, with hints of honey, vanilla, and dried fruit.
  • Flavour: Smooth and naturally sweet, with caramel, nutty, and earthy undertones.
  • Finish: Full-bodied and lingering, with a gentle natural sweetness.
  • Pairing: Enjoy on its own or with milk, honey, or citrus. Pairs well with spiced desserts, vanilla, or creamy treats.

Origin Story:

Rooibos has been harvested in the Cederberg region of South Africa for centuries, traditionally enjoyed by Indigenous communities for its soothing, gentle qualities. Today, Red Rooibos is celebrated worldwide for its smooth taste and versatility as a naturally caffeine-free herbal tea.
